DAY 2 : BUENOS AIRES

Audacious Architecture
Buenos Aires is where it all happens, and we want you to immerse yourself in its beauty, history, and sheer radiance. Enjoy a private guided, half-day panoramic tour, discovering the rich parks and open spaces of the Northern Neighborhood and the eye-catching buildings and grounds of Palermo and Recoleta, in the comfort of a private vehicle. After being picked up from your hotel, you'll be driven to the Obelisk; a distinct symbol of the city. After that, you will visit different squares such as Plaza de Mayo, Plaza San Martín, Plaza del Congreso and some of the main avenues such as Corrientes, de Mayo, and 9 de Julio. Enjoy views in the historical neighborhoods of La Boca, San Telmo, Montserrat and the elegant neighborhoods of Palermo, Recoleta, and the modern Puerto Madero. Breathe in the fresh air as you pass through parks such as Lezama, Tres de Febrero and the Ecological Reserve. En route you will also get to visit financial and commercial areas and Soccer Stadiums. At the end of your tour you will be dropped back at your hotel.

This afternoon, enjoy time at leisure to explore at your own pace, or relax at your hotel.

While Don Julio started out as a neighbourhood parrilla, or steakhouse, in a 19th-century corner property, today the family-run restaurant has truly raised the bar through its commitment to regenerative Argentine cattle farming, a 60,000-strong cellar that embraces Argentina's wine story and an unmatched dedication to organic agriculture.

Appearances are deceptive: while the queues suggest 'tourist magnet', Don Julio in fact retains a huge local clientele, who keep coming back for its delicious steaks and exemplary cellar. Service is precise, but owner and sommelier Pablo Rivero ensures the restaurant also retains a casual ambience, inviting diners to pen loving messages on empty bottles that then join the wall of wine fame.

DAY 3 : BUENOS AIRES

An Evening Out

A whirlwind of discovery awaits during a day at leisure in enchanting Buenos Aires. Argentina's dazzling capital invites you to explore its very best, boasting an unforgettable collection of museums, restaurants, historic monuments, and sprawling green spaces in each of its barrios. For art aficionados, a visit to the MALBA museum is a must, while the grand 19th-century Teatro Colon is sure to impress. Stroll down El Caminito in La Boca to see the famously vibrant houses, the perfect backdrop for a souvenir photo. Indulge your sweet tooth at the San Telmo Market, or discover local artisanal products during its weekend showcase, where you can immerse yourself in local culture amid cobblestone streets and contemporary art spaces. Book lovers should make a point to stop at El Ateneo Grand Splendid, a palatial cinema transformed into one of the most beautiful bookstores in the world. Take in a tango show or try your hand (and feet) at the famous Argentinian dance yourself with the help of a professional lesson. Unwind at the Plaza de Mayo, simply soaking in the scene and observing the towering white obelisk commemorating the country's independence from Spain. The city offers plenty of stunning botanic gardens ideal for an afternoon stroll or a serene respite during a day of non-stop adventure.

Buenos Aires may well be the best place in the world to catch an exclusive tango show, and the nightly performance at Café de Los Angelitos may well be the best in the city. This evening, enjoy a special night out as you are picked up from your hotel by a private driver and a bilingual guide, setting out for Café de Los Angelitos. Take in an intimate tango performance led by local dancers, all while enjoying a gourmet dinner consisting of grilled local meats, international dishes and excellent Argentinian wines. A sensory experience capturing the essence of Buenos Aires tango and gastronomy - this will be a night to remember.

Chasing Waterfalls

Today you will experience the Argentine side of Iguazu Falls from Misiones, the area which borders Brazil. After being picked up by your English-speaking guide, you will be transferred to Iguassu National Park to board a small intra-park train to the first above-water platforms. Marvel at the scenery as you wind your way along this intricate path system to the imposing "Garganta del Diabo" (in Spanish) or Devil's Throat. This awe-inspiring section of the falls funnels 50 percent of the overall flow into a narrow section, letting out a deep roar and a huge amount of mist. While the Devil's Throat is closer to the Brazilian side, the Argentinians created an expansive and elevated walkway in order to allow visitors to position themselves right above the action! At the end of the tour you will be returned to your hotel.

This afternoon, get ready for the ultimate Iguassu Falls experience as you enjoy a boat ride that will get you up close and personal with this incredible natural wonder! After a short off-road truck ride through the jungle, descend about 250 steps to a dock to board a small speedboat and start your exciting ride. Zip over rapids through the Iguassu River Canyon and get tantalizingly close to several waterfalls, including the Three Musketeers, the Devil's Throat and San Martin falls. Hold on to your seats, next you're headed straight under the falls for a refreshing shower! From there you'll truly be able to feel the raw, natural power of the thundering water first-hand. Expect to get wet on this one of a kind experience. Dry bags will be provided for your personal belongings (clothes, shoes, phones, cameras etc.) to reduce the risk of damage or loss. Ponchos, jackets, towels or other personal waterproof gear is not provided. It is highly recommended that you bring a change of clothes or waterproof clothing to better enjoy the rest of your afternoon.
